Appointment and Optical Center Tips & Reminders

Please keep the following points in mind when arriving for your scheduled appointment or meeting with our Opticians.

  • Please bring the following items with you to your appointment:
    • Medical Insurance Card AND any Vision Benefit information, if applicable.
    • Any payments or copayments due.
    • Current medication list.
    • Glasses – even if you wear contact lenses.
    • Please WEAR your contact lenses to contact lens follow up appointments unless otherwise directed by the doctor.
    • Sunglasses – yes, even those $5 ones that became your favorite or the free company swag from your last golf outing!
    • New patients – your most recent glasses or contact lens prescriptions, if available.
  • A 24 hr. notice is requested when rescheduling or canceling an appointment.
  • Patients who are 10 minutes late or more for their scheduled appointment may need to be rescheduled or wait.
  • Full payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made prior to seeing the doctor.
  • No insurance? No problem! We offer a prompt pay discount for professional services and materials when medical insurance and or/vision plan benefits aren’t available or used. Ask for your ‘Good Faith’ Estimate prior to checking in!
  • For your convenience our office accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
  • You do not need an appointment to meet with our Opticians – their talents are available on a first come, first served basis! If you’re in a time crunch, try to avoid visiting or calling for them during lunch time or at the end of the day.
  • We require a minimum payment of 50% down at the time of glasses/materials orders with the remainder of balance to be paid at pickup.
  • We require FULL payment down at the time of contact lens orders.
