Dr. David Kisiolek
A native of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Dr. David Kisiolek received his bachelor’s degree (Biology) from Lakeland College in 1976. He attended the Illinois College of Optometry receiving his doctorate in 1980. While at Illinois, Dr. Kisiolek was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Academic Honor Society. He served two years as a graduate assistant in the department of physiological optics.
Dr. Kisiolek completed an externship rotation at West Side Veterans Administration Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kisiolek is Board Certified in the treatment of eye diseases. In 2012, Dr. Kisiolek was one of the first Optometrists in Wisconsin to receive his “Diplomat” status from the American Board of Optometry. He is a member of the Wisconsin Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. Dr. Kisiolek is a board member of the Optometric Practice Association of Wisconsin, an organization providing emergency eye care. He enjoys being active in the Howards Grove community and is presently serving as president of the Howards Grove Advancement Association. David, and his wife Mary, reside in Howards Grove and enjoy spending time with their extended family.
Dr. Kristie Andrews
Dr. Kristie Andrews is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin (and an avid Packer fan of course!) graduating from Bay Port High School before attending the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Andrews graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2011 receiving her Neurobiology degree with Honors. While at UW, Dr. Andrews co-authored a paper entitled “Core Structure of the U6 Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein” which was published in the prestigious scientific journal Nature Structural and Molecular Biology in 2014.
Upon graduation from UW, Dr. Andrews continued her education after being accepted to the Illinois College of Optometry. While at Illinois, Dr. Andrews was selected by faculty to be a teaching assistant in the department of Ocular Anatomy and Vision Science. She was elected National Optometric Student Association Chairperson in 2013. She continues as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Academic Honor Society.
Just prior to graduation, Dr. Andrews chose clinical rotations in pediatrics and ocular disease. She rotated through a pediatric optometry practice in Brookfield, Wisconsin before serving on the staff at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Her final rotation was in Lexington, Kentucky at Commonwealth Eye Surgery, a cataract and refractive surgical outpatient center.
As a member of the Wisconsin and American Optometric Associations, Dr. Andrews believes in providing compassionate and quality eye care to all patients. She strongly believes in forming a connection with all patients and taking the time to address all questions. Clinically she has a strong interest in both pediatric eye care as well as the treatment of eye disease and surgical co-management.
Dr. Andrews resides in Sheboygan and enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, running and of course cheering for the Green Bay Packers!
Board Certified Optician
Andrew (Andy) has worked in the Optical Field for over 42 years and is a lifelong resident of Sheboygan County. Andy graduated from Lakeshore Technical College in 1977 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science as a Dispensing Optician. He is a board certified optician with the American Board of Opticianary. His skill set includes the ability to repair and adjust almost any pair of spectacles to the proper fit and comfort of the prescription for the patient. Andy is active in his church and has served for over 25 years on the Village Board in Adell, Wisconsin. Andy and his wife Valerie enjoy gardening and participating in church and civic activities.
Board Certified Optician
Chris joined Kisiolek Eye Center in 2017. She has worked in the optical field since 2002 and is a board-certified optician with the American Board of Opticianry. She was born and raised in Fond du Lac county and still resides there in the Kettle Moraine area. She especially enjoys spending time with her four children and grandchildren. Her hobbies include travel, camping, fishing, and gardening.
Pam has been in the optical field since 1989. She graduated from Lakeshore Technical College in 1989. She has been at Kisiolek Eye Center since April of 2015. Pam has lived in the Sheboygan area all of her life. She enjoys gardening and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Business Administration Team & Board Certified Optician
Connie has worked in optometric offices for over 30 years and has been on staff at Kisiolek Eye Center since 2002. Although she is now working in administration, she has been certified with the American Board of Opticianry since she graduated from Lakeshore Technical College in 2002. Connie and her husband, Paul, live in Howards Grove. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, especially her adult children and miniature Australian Shepard, Bailey.
Lisa joined the Kisiolek eye center staff in 2020. She is part of our business staff in the front office and also works as a technician with eye exams. In the past, she worked in a pharmacy setting for many years. She lives in Howards Grove with her husband and son.
She enjoys camping on the weekends, walking her dog, and spending time with her family.
Business Administration Team
Mary has been married to Dr. David for more than 35 years. They have two married daughters and four grandchildren. Mary does a little of everything in the business office, our “Girl Friday”.
Rene’ is a 2010 graduate of Lakeshore Technical College Medical Assistant Program and joined Kisiolek Eye Center in October, 2010. Rene’ is very active with the WI Society of Medical Assistants and has held the position of Treasurer and Education Chairman since 2016. Rene’ was recently awarded “WSMA 2019 Medical Assistant of the Year” for her volunteer work within the WSMA. She has been able to travel to multiple states to attend the American Association of Medical Assistants National Conference. She is married to her high school sweetheart Chris; they reside in Cascade. They have two grown kids, four wonderful grandchildren and 2 spoiled cats. In her spare time, Rene’ enjoys spending time with family, reading and quilting.
Kaochee is a 2019 Ophthalmic Technician graduate from LTC. She been with Kisiolek Eye Center since her student clinical days, and divides her office time between teching for the doctors and working in the optical department. She was born and raised in the Sheboygan area. Kaochee is multilingual in English and Hmong. She enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
